美國司法部2日發表聲明稱，
美國代理司法部長托德·布蘭奇已致信國際刑事法院院長赤根智子，
拒絕承認國際刑事法院對美國人有司法管轄權。

布蘭奇在信中表示，國際刑事法院「越來越缺乏合法性和正當性」，
其「選擇性執法記錄」及內部不當行為指控已嚴重損害其公信力。

6月24日，國際刑事法院3名女法官在美國紐約聯邦法院起訴美國總統特朗普及其政府，
指控此前對她們實施的制裁措施非法。
