這些非法移民的路線就是從墨西哥的城市花點機票錢，搭機到大家拿的多倫多或是蒙特婁等城市，然後再從這些城市往南通過美加邊境。跟美國南部邊境相比，美加邊境更好偷渡，除了邊境長度比美墨邊境更長外，邊境上幾個檢查站也是長期人力不足，因為CBP長期關注南方邊境暴增的非法移民。另外一個更爽的因素是，美加邊境沒有啥像樣的阻攔設施，像是鐵絲籠網之類的，完全不用擔心會受傷啥的。
