I read that the DVD will come out in 2003 to mark the ten year anniversary of the film.

I don't know about any special feature though

i don't know about release dates, but i read in a film magazine somewhere, i think it might have been Empire that Spielberg is intending on doing a directors cut of the film and there was a possibility of a commentary track from the man himself, that's all i've heard. but one thing i know is i hope that a DVD comes out soon so that i can add one of my favourite films to my DVD collection and get rid of that rubbish old video.
