IGN沒有公佈相關規格，之前一區發的兩個版（舊版、特別版）都沒有「橫向壓縮」，「終極版」應該會有了。

目前暫時只有這樣的消息：
May 28, 2002 - The Artisan's three-disc special edition of Dune landed in the offices today, and inside the case was a small flyer that showed some of the companies major DVDs. T2 UE and Total Recall SE where there, but the flyer also revealed the cover art for the upcoming Ultimate Edition of Stargate.


我一時看得太快，「終極版」不是三碟！
是IGN買了「沙丘魔堡」三碟版，盒子內附了一張廣告傳單，上面有已發行的T2、魔鬼總動員特別版的介紹，此外就是「星際奇兵」終極版的介紹圖片了，上圖就是從廣告單上掃瞄而來的。

再更正一次，星際奇兵「終極版」不是三碟喔，幾張碟還不知道。
