https://www.yahoo.com/news/poll-fin...-110012996.html New poll finds California voters resoundingly oppose cash reparations for slavery 反對跟支持者的比例高達2:1，六成以上受訪選民還表示，沒道理納稅義務人還要為了過往的錯誤不停地付錢，至於政黨在這議題上的比例，共和黨選民高達九成反對，獨立選民也有近七成反對，至於民主黨的話則是41%反對，43%支持，顯然連民主黨也不怎麼全面支持賠償。 至於在種族方面，非裔族群看到有錢拿很高興，所以支持度高達76%，僅16%反對，白人的話有六成七左右反對，拉美裔跟亞裔也是這個反對比例。
