There is no definite answer for this... I have found that some chain stores actually take off the packaging, put in security device, then repackage the DVD. In addition, the stickers are for storage purposes only so I have picked up some DVDs without the stickers. When I open up the DVD, it is brand new, so there is no complaint there.

By the way, if I am not mistaken, all of you should be getting the Canadian edition for this DVD. (look for a Canadian home video logo...)

 當初一區美版首部曲就有加拿大分級標誌了，最近的一區美版SPEED也一樣，「二部曲」也是如此，一區福斯應該加版、美版都一樣。（這兩張都是從美國站買回來的） DVD以上三張封面、封底都沒有法文，唯一和加拿大有關係的大概只有法語DD2.0音軌以及小的幾乎看不見的加拿大分級標誌。 不過更早的ID4一區五星版就沒有加拿大分級標誌了。 |

原本以為美版跟加版可用ISBN編號做確認，所以我分別從美國及加拿大各訂了一套
美女與野獸，結果發現ISBN編號是一樣，但加版封面印刷還是多了那一朵小楓葉，至於內容規格我還沒拆開驗證，所以不得而知，不過我猜應該是一樣的

I agree with this, most of dvds I bought at stores here at Toronto have security devices inside of the cases. The dvds would be brand new as usual, but sometimes both the packagings and security devices are very hard to get them off unless I use something other than my hands...
